Parker brings over 30 years of supervisory and executive leadership in national security and homeland security to Global HR Research.
After graduation from the University of Tampa with a degree in Business Administration Parker was accepted and graduated from the Navy’s, Aviation Officer Candidate program in Pensacola, Florida.
After Parker completed his tour in the Navy he chose to continue serving his country as a Special Agent in the United States Secret Service. During his 25 year career with the United States Secret Service, Parker was task with assignments both domestically and around the globe. These assignments included conducting criminal investigations both domestically and abroad, conducting and assessing background investigations for potential Treasury Department and White House employees. intelligence assessments, risk assessments, and protective assignments around the globe to include assignments at the White House where he served under two presidents. Parker’s final assignment was in charge of the Secret Service office in Ft. Myers, Fl.
Upon his retirement from the Secret Service Parker had been a private consultant and a full-time employee for Fortune 100 companies, to include Raytheon and Lockheed Martin. While in these jobs, he specialized in the areas of strategic planning, security projects, inspections of US airports for the Transportation Security Administration and, international and domestic business development. During this period Parker was also a member of the Department of Homeland Security’s, Headquarters Operational Integration Staff. This senior staff, was responsible for the Horizontal and Vertical Integration of all of the components being brought together to create the Department of Homeland Security.
