DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE INVESTIGATIONS
A New Jersey native, William J. Adelhelm attended Trenton State College and assumes the position of head of investigations with Global HR Research.
Adelhelm joined the Belleville Police Department in 1974, and throughout his career in law enforcement has accumulated expertise in a wide variety of areas pertinent to his responsibilities as a police officer.
His service assignments included the Patrol and Traffic Divisions and the Detective Bureau, as well as attending numerous training courses and seminars by the New Jersey State Police which included basic narcotics, advanced narcotics, criminal investigation, police supervision, and juvenile justice.
Adelhelm was also trained by the FBI in police management, attended specialized school in photography, fingerprint classification, and advanced latent fingerprint techniques.
Additional training courses Adelhelm completed include hazardous waste investigation, managing a detective unit, and recognizing the signs of sexually exploited children. Chief Adelhelm spent time as a certified instructor at the Essex County Police Academy and has been a member of the National Association of Chiefs of Police, the Honor Legion of Police and New Jersey State PBA.
